Meet the “original” Haute Dog… Emma!

Emma is a young Border Collie / Labrador mix, (which is now considered to be a “Borador”) that is the most fun-loving, intelligent dog you’ll ever meet. We adopted her from a local rescue when she was a pup, and she’s had us wrapped around her little paw ever since.

Emma loves to run and have fun with her little furry friends, play with her endless supply of toys, and cuddle up for an afternoon nap in her chair. When she’s not out for one of her walks, Emma can be found swimming in the closest pond, regardless of weather. A road trip to the Midwest so that she can play in the snowy winter wonderland or take a dip in the lake while enjoying the summer sun has also become an enjoyable time for her.

Emma is the perfect balance of cute and crazy. For us…she’s doggone perfect!

After making Emma some collars for fun, they seemed to become popular among some of the dog owners in the neighborhood. With some coaxing from friends and family, we started to make them for local markets and festivals where they did paw-sitively wonderfully. So, in early 2009 Haute Dogs was born…because “every dog deserves to be haute!”

We only sell products that we have tested on our own pet and Emma and I stand behind our quality 100%.
